Compliance Policies

DEA List I/II awareness, shipping restrictions, B2B vetting, and hazardous materials handling.

1. U.S. DEA List I / List II chemical regulations

Lair Research maintains an internal watch process for materials that may be regulated as List I or List II chemicals (or otherwise restricted). We do not knowingly sell regulated precursor chemicals outside applicable law. SKUs are screened against restricted lists; orders may be cancelled if a product or destination is not permitted.

  • Catalog and fulfillment screening for restricted / regulated substances
  • Refusal of orders that appear intended for illicit manufacture
  • Cooperation with lawful requests from authorities where required

2. Shipping restrictions for regulated products

  • Shipments only to approved business addresses associated with the verified account
  • No shipments to P.O. boxes where prohibited by carrier or policy
  • Destination and product combinations may be blocked after compliance review
  • Carriers and methods are selected for package integrity and documentation requirements
  • International orders require additional review and may be declined

3. B2B customer vetting process

  1. Application — legal business name, address, contacts, tax ID / registration
  2. Documents — business license and supporting credentials as requested
  3. Intended use — research / laboratory use disclosure
  4. Review — compliance review (typically 2–5 business days)
  5. Approval — catalog, pricing, and checkout unlocked for approved roles only
  6. Ongoing — accounts may be suspended for policy violations or incomplete documentation

4. Hazardous material transporting and storing

Research materials are stored in controlled warehouse conditions appropriate to lyophilized peptides and related laboratory supplies (secure access, temperature category per SKU, lot segregation). Outbound packaging uses sealed vials, protective cushioning, and labeling suitable for the material class. Where a shipment requires special hazmat handling, we use qualified processes or decline the order.

  • Access-controlled storage and inventory lot tracking
  • Segregation of lots and documentation (COA / SDS where applicable)
  • Packaging standards to prevent breakage and contamination in transit
  • Staff handling procedures for spills, returns, and damaged packages
